EN 16662-1 is an important European standard for test methods for snow chains and other additional anti-skid devices on cars and light commercial vehicles, which also includes non-metallic variants.
TÜV AUSTRIA is one of the few accredited providers in Austria to offer the necessary test procedure for the certification of anti-skid devices. We test objectively whether wheel slide protection devices that are to be placed on the market fulfil the requirements of EN 16662-1.
