Elevator - Energy efficiency
Energy efficiency in the elevator
Energy efficiency describes for the first time a method with which the energy efficiency of elevators can be objectively compared and classified. Standby mode is often underestimated in terms of overall energy consumption. For this reason, the standby and travel modes are recorded and classified separately. Both classifications are reflected in the overall classification of the elevator according to the actual circumstances of use of the elevator.
Finally, the elevator receives a label (seal) and a certificate, as is common for household appliances, with the categories from A to G, in color coding and with the corresponding characteristic values.
Our service includes
- Testing the energy efficiency of the elevator
- Preparation of a report
- Issuing a certificate with seal
The following additional tests are possible as part of the individual test:
- Measurement of the standstill consumption values of individual components
- Analysis of the consumption values of individual components
- Discussion of optimization options after the measurement has been carried out
- Carrying out a repeat measurement
Testing the design variants of a type-tested elevator:
- Preparation of a summarized report for each elevator type
- Creation of a verification checklist for checking compliance during the acceptance test
- Issuing a summarized certificate for each elevator type
- Issuing a report for each verified individual installation
- Issuing a certificate for each verified individual installation
