Building condition reports for condominiums

TÜV AUSTRIA prepares expert reports on the state of construction for condominium organizers in accordance with the Condominium Act WEG §37 (4). The reports are carried out by building experts and documented by means of photos.

Condominium organizers must provide the applicant for condominium ownership with a report on the state of construction of the general parts of the building, in particular on maintenance work that will be necessary in the foreseeable future (about ten years), before or with the commitment to grant condominium ownership in parts of a building whose building permit is more than 20 years old at the time of the commitment. The expert opinion must not be older than one year at the time of the commitment and must be included in the purchase contract for the property share in which the condominium is to be acquired.
