In the food industry, physicochemical and microbiological analyses are absolutely necessary for checking raw materials, finished products and, respectively, for compliance with self-control programs.
TÜV AUSTRIA performs the complete set of analyses to determine the degree of contamination of agri-food products applicable in:
- Food industry, for example: producers, processors, distributors;
- Institutions: schools, hospitals, kindergartens, care centers;
- HoReCa: hotels, restaurants, catering.
Within our laboratory, we offer the full set of analyses necessary for the food industry:
- Determination of the degree of physico-chemical and microbiological contamination: acrylamide, pathogenic bacteria (Salmonella, E. Coli, Listeria), heavy metals (Cd, Pb, Hg, As), nitrites, nitrates, pesticides, drug residues (antibiotics).
- Determination of quality through physicochemical analysis: fat, protein, salt, moisture, dry matter.
- Determining the degree of freshness: hydrogen sulfide reaction, Nessler and Kreiss reaction.
- Determination of nutritional values
- Validation of the expiration date
for the following product categories:
- Of non-animal origin: fresh produce (vegetables/fruits), cereals, nuts, seeds, beverages (mineral waters, carbonated soft drinks, beer, wines).
