Approval of Material Manufacturers
Manufacturers of pressure equipment demonstrate their expertise on the market through various approvals.
These manufacturer approvals are issued, for example, in accordance with the international standard EN ISO 3834 or for specialised repair companies in accordance with the Austrian Pressure Equipment Act § 51.
If pressure equipment is manufactured and tested in accordance with the AD 2000 data sheets, the manufacturer is required to obtain approval in accordance with AD 2000 HP0. The assessment of the manufacturer’s quality assurance measures, which are tailored to the construction of pressure equipment and welding technology, form the basis of these approvals.
