Differentiation between maintenance and revision/inspection
- Maintenance is not carried out by TÜV AUSTRIA. Maintenance is carried out by specialist companies for which the systems are certified and authorized or by the manufacturers of the systems.
- Acceptance test: For fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, smoke and heat extraction systems, pressurized ventilation systems and gas extinguishing systems, an acceptance test is required for new installations. In the past, this was required by an accredited testing body. Since 2018, the technical guidelines have successively only required the “acceptance body” (can also be a technical office or a civil engineer)
Revision:
Revision tests: Same meaning as acceptance test – An inspection report is created for these tests
