ISO 8573-1:2010 specifies the corresponding compressed air purity at a certain point in a compressed air system and defines three contaminant concentrations (solid particles, water, residual oil content) per cubic meter of compressed air.
When measuring the compressed air quality, residual oil, particles and pressure dew point are measured and the compressed air quality class is determined. The compressed air quality measurement also serves as the basis for an optimum treatment concept.
