Smoke and heat extraction system (SHEVS)
Information on
Smoke and heat exhaust systems Smoke and heat exhaust systems in accordance with TRVB 125 are systems that are usually used in large halls and buildings. They are often domed systems that are automatically opened by the fire alarm system when the fire alarm is triggered.
Procedure
Before a hall is built, the calculation of the opening areas must be communicated to the accepting authority. After construction, during the acceptance test, the accepting authority checks whether all guidelines have been complied with and whether the system functions as shown in the table below.
In the case of fire alarm systems that are connected to the fire department, the company has not only personal protection but also protection of the existing building – as it is guaranteed that the fire department can enter the building 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, if a fire alarm is triggered and investigate the cause of the fire alarm triggering.
