Information on
Sprinkler systems are “automatic extinguishing systems” that activate an extinguishing process in the event of heat, regardless of dust or smoke. The triggering temperature for a large number of systems is approx. 68 °C.
After the system has been installed, an acceptance test is carried out by an approving body and an annual inspection by an approving body is required for these systems.
The basis for SPA is TRVB 127 and ÖNORM EN 16763.
A sprinkler attendant must be trained for sprinkler systems. Prerequisite for the function of sprinkler attendant is fire protection attendant training (1 day).
