Shutdowns are among the most demanding periods for any industrial operation. They require rigorous planning, responsiveness, coordination among teams, and a high level of technical expertise.
Recently, TÜV AUSTRIA Iberia participated in The Navigator Company’s 2026 shutdown, in Setúbal, mobilizing a multidisciplinary team of 18 professionals to inspect and evaluate some of the plant’s most critical equipment, including Portugal’s largest waste-to-energy boiler.
To address the scale and complexity of this project, we worked in an integrated manner across different areas of the company:
In a highly dynamic and demanding environment, our focus was always on operational efficiency, technical rigor, and, above all, safety.
The result was a successfully completed project, reflecting our teams’ daily commitment to industrial excellence and the trust our clients place in us.
