On June 9, 2026, the 3rd Certification and Accreditation Conference was held in Nansha, Guangzhou, coinciding with the 19th World Accreditation Day. Themed “Certification, Accreditation, Testing, and Inspection: Innovating and Developing New Quality Productive Forces,” the conference brought together top minds and authoritative voices from the global conformity assessment sector.
Ivan Huang, TÜV AUSTRIA Shanghai Managing Director, delivered a keynote speech titled “How Testing, Inspection and Certification Drive Green and Sustainable Development”, sharing TÜV AUSTRIA insights and practices in the Green Actions Services, his presentation sparked enthusiastic responses from the attendees.

The Power of Accreditation on a Global Stage
Organized by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and co-organized by Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City, and Nansha District, this year’s conference marked the first major “World Accreditation Day” event following the official launch of the Global Accreditation Cooperation (Global ACI) in 2026.
Nearly a thousand guests gathered at the event, including representatives from international organizations such as the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), Global ACI, and the TIC Council (International Testing, Inspection, and Certification Council), as well as domestic and international market regulators, research institutes, and leading enterprises. Together, the gathered experts discussed the new mission of conformity assessment in driving innovation, building trust, and promoting sustainable development.
