With the official opening of its branch office in Chișinău, TÜV AUSTRIA is strengthening its presence in the Republic of Moldova and helping companies gain access to international markets.

TÜV AUSTRIA has officially opened its new branch in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. With this market entry, the company is expanding its service portfolio in the areas of inspection, certification, laboratory services, and professional training. A particular focus is on the agriculture and food sector, for which TÜV AUSTRIA offers analyses of soil, water, agricultural raw materials, and food.
Initially, laboratory testing will be conducted through TÜV AUSTRIA’s existing laboratory network in Romania. At the same time, the company plans to gradually expand local capacities in Moldova, including on-site sampling and initial processing steps.
In the long term, the new branch is intended not only to support the Moldovan economy in implementing European standards but also to serve as a center of excellence for the development and export of services in the region.
Doru Fulga, Regional Manager for Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, and Bulgaria: “We will bring our full range of expertise at the European level to Moldova. Our goal is to establish TÜV AUSTRIA in Moldova as a strong partner for businesses—one that develops services, operates its own laboratories, and provides sustainable support to the country’s economy and industry.”
Ruxanda Macuh, Head of the TÜV AUSTRIA branch in Moldova, adds: “We want to be a reliable partner for companies that want to grow, become more competitive, and meet international market requirements. At the same time, we are establishing local infrastructure for sample collection and initial processing steps so that we can offer our customers faster and more efficient services.”
