Assessment of work equipment to determine whether it may be used as such under Section 33 of the Occupational Safety Act (ASchG, Federal Law Gazette No. 450/1994, as amended) (safe use of work equipment).

Inspection of older work equipment (without a CE mark and manufactured before 1995) to ensure its safe condition in accordance with Section 4 of the Work Equipment Ordinance (AM-VO, Federal Law Gazette II No. 164/2000, as amended).
Determination of any necessary retrofits required for worker protection.
