The testing laboratory for personal protective equipment is located in the TÜV AUSTRIA Technology and Innovation Center – one of the largest and most modern testing facilities in Austria.
Our 12m high test tower offers the possibility for dynamic drop tests of any kind (guided / free-falling test mass).
With our tensile testing machine, we can perform tensile and compression tests up to 1000 kN (100 t).
We can carry out all tests on safety harnesses/restraint/seat belts with a modern test dummy: 100 kg -150 kg with a constant center of gravity.

Our testing services at the Bochum site are carried out using state-of-the-art testing equipment. The entire concept was newly developed and specially tailored to our customers’ needs.
