Vehicle acoustics measurement

TÜV AUSTRIA offers you optimum support for acoustic measurements. On our pass-by-noise track, our team checks whether customer vehicles meet the legal requirements in terms of noise.

  • Exterior noise type testing of motorcycles and vehicles in accordance with UN-ECE R41 (incl. RD-ASEP), UN-ECE R51 (incl. ASEP and RD-ASEP), UN-ECE R138 (incl. AVAS – Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System) / FMVSS 141 and Conformity of Production (COP) measurement services
  • Exterior noise type testing of replacement silencers according to UN-ECE R59 and UN-ECE R92
  • Tire rolling noise measurement according to UN-ECE R117
  • Type testing of sound signs according to UN-ECE R28
  • Sound level measurements according to specific national and international regulations of manufacturers
  • Series tests for vehicle, tire and component development
  • Interior noise comfort measurements on different road surfaces at the TRIWO test center

  • Center Line Detection uses a camera system to assist the driver with center line guidance.
